As I’ve mentioned in our designmom.com feature, Santa Clarita has attracted growing families to invest and purchase their first homes here because of good school districts, affordable new home developments and emerging new businesses.
I am fortunate to have been welcomed into the beautiful homes of friends I’ve gained since we moved out here.
Allow me to share with you Mommy Bing’s beautiful brand new home (built from ground up in 2015) in Canyon Country.
Not only does the Canono family have a new home, they also have a new baby!

These photos reveal Mommy Bing’s passion to make their house a home, while catering to Daddy Peter and Baby Naomi’s needs, and being a full-time RN. That definitely puts her in our list of thriving moms.
Keep up the good work, new parents! Savor every moment as baby phase zooms you by.
To end, let me share Mommy Bing’s favorite alone time activity in order to rejuvenate herself and bounce back to her multiple roles with full tank:
“Reading my daily devotional book, Our Daily Bread. Nothing gives me the best feeling by spending time with God everyday. It is where I draw strength physically and mentally as I juggle all the chores everyday.”
What a humbling spiel, coming from a possibly overwhelmed new mom (I know I was) who deserves a break once in a while.
Today, let us reflect on how powerful it truly is to involve asking for God’s grace during our times alone. How much more rejuvenated will we really be when we make sure we are rejuvenated spiritually as well?
