Where do I start?
Maan is a natural mother in so many ways. Our friends and I used to tease her when we were still single how motherly she gets when we go out or on a road trip. She is the most cautious with men offering us drinks, she is the safest driver and she is the one who packs the most snacks/food.
Of course, her motherly ways will be evident in their first and brand new home that they were blessed to purchase in 2014. It is lovely and well-kept, warm with home cooked meals and full of color and life.
After their beautiful church wedding I featured last year, God finally heard their longtime prayer to have a second child.
The journey they had before their prayer was answered was not an easy one. They lost one baby before this pregnancy, and though it may be common, it never made it any better for any mother. Now they have a rainbow baby! This term is given to imply that although a storm just passed, something beautiful and full of life and color is about to come.
Let this story remind us how God is always faithful with His promise to us. That despite all the waiting, the storms, the darkness, or the grief, a rainbow will appear.
