Mommy Abby, my sister-in-law, and her husband recently purchased their first home in Florida. She is an exceptional cook, a neat freak (she consented to this), and a Senior Airman Below-the-Zone in the US Air Force. Just with this short list, she is already topping our list of thriving moms.
Daddy Christian used to be in the Navy, and because of this, their little family gets around. My husband and I are always amazed by this family’s patience and resilience to move all belongings cross country. Basic moving from one house to another locally already stresses me out, just by thinking of the physical effort it takes. But to pack, load, ship and drive hundreds of miles with everything in tow? Yikes! They’ve been stationed in San Diego, CA, Gulfport, MS, and now Eglin, FL. As usual for military families, life can get kind of unpredictable. So to see them taking the chance to settle and put down some roots is pretty exciting.
